COVID-19 Update

Last year was fantastic for our small, family business and we were looking forward to building on that momentum this year.  We had plans to bring you new and exciting products and we committed to three farmers markets and more special events than ever before.  Then, COVID-19 happened.

All of the spring and summer events were cancelled.  I have already received notice that a popular winter holiday show has been cancelled and I expect more will follow.  Many of these are held in gymnasiums and auditoriums, and the schools are understandably focused on keeping their premises safe for their students, teachers, and staff.

The Remington Community Garden generously provided customers and vendors with a place to engage in a safe, minimal-contact market, but as other markets and traditional stores began to open the market closed.  The Gainesville Thursday Market will not be opening this year and the future is uncertain.  Archwood Green Barns in The Plains is open for business every Sunday 10-2, but after careful consideration we will not be participating this year.  Both my mother and I are at risk for serious complications from COVID-19 and trying our best to avoid exposure.

Like so many small business owners I am struggling to find a way to move forward.  For now, I am happy to make any of our regular products to order and either mail them to you or meet you locally for pick-up.  I’ll be working on the website to provide you with a list of products, but if you already know what you want please don’t hesitate to email me any time!

Moving into the fall I am planning to build some inventory and make special holiday items available, so please look for information about that.

I miss providing you with high-quality, locally crafted bath and body products.  Most of all, I miss seeing you!  I’m looking forward to the time when we can all be together again.

I hope all of you, your families, and loved ones are doing as well as possible in these unsettling times.
